Italian foreign minister visits Egypt

CAIRO, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Italian Foreign Minister Massimo D’Alema said Tuesday during a visit to Egypt that it is time “to think about a peace accord and not just a peace process.”

D’Alema talked to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Alexandria and then flew to Cairo for a meeting with Amr Moussa, head of the Arab League, the Italian news agency Ansa reported. He and Moussa also had a news conference.
