Indian leader cites terrorism danger

HYDERABAD, India, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Terrorism is the "most dangerous threat" in the world today, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told an audience in Hyderabad, India.

"Today's terrorists are the most sophisticated, have transnational linkages and adequate resources," he told the graduating class of Indian Police Service probation officers.

He said globalization has given rise to new forms of criminality, white-collar crime has taken on new dimensions and "subversive forces" were at work, the Press Trust of India reported.
