India says it has credible proof on blasts

LONDON, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said in London his country will offer "credible evidence" on Pakistan's role in the July 11 Mumbai train blasts.

India claims Pakistan's intelligence agency and terror groups based in that country were responsible for the blasts which killed about 200 people, the Press Trust of India reported.

Singh gave no details but told a news conference the evidence will be given to Pakistan to take advantage of its offer to cooperate in the fight against terrorism, the Press Trust of India said.

Singh, who was joined at the news conference by British Prime Minister Tony Blair, said the attacks in Mumbai as well as similar attacks in London are reminders of terrorist threats faced by both countries.

"No country, or government or state should support it," Blair said.
