Russia, S. Korea sign trade agreement

MOSCOW, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Russia and South Korea signed a trade and economic cooperation agreement Saturday that will link the Trans-Korean and Trans-Siberian railroads.

The accord also may result in a South Korean taking part in a short-term mission to the International Space Station, Russian officials told news agency Itar-Tass.

Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Andrei Sharonov and South Korean Foreign Trade Minister Kim Hyun-chong signed the agreement.
