Federal judge dismisses Cheney-GAO lawsuit

WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- A federal judge on Monday dismissed a lawsuit filed against Vice President Dick Cheney, head of the government's energy task force. U.S. District Court Judge John D. Bates said that General Accounting Office chief David Walker, who had filed the suit, had no standing to bring the action under the Constitution.
