Boys plead guilty to killing father

PENSACOLA, Fla., Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Two teenaged brothers pleaded guilty Thursday to 3rd-degree murder and arson in the beating death of their father a year ago in a plea bargain that was assisted by a professional mediator. Alex King, 13, was sentenced to seven years in prison and Derek King, 14, who admitted to swinging the baseball bat, will spend eight years in prison.
