Convicted ex-FBI agent facing prison time

BOSTON, May 29 (UPI) -- A former FBI special agent once highly praised for recruiting gang bosses as underworld informants now faces lengthy prison time for protecting them. John Connolly remained free on bail Wednesday awaiting sentencing in August after being convicted of racketeering and obstruction of justice.
