Jury convicts workplace murderer

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., April 24 (UPI) -- A jury Wednesday convicted a software engineer of first-degree murder for gunning down seven co-workers, rejecting his claim he was mentally ill. The jury deliberated over three days before finding Michael McDermott guilty of murdering fellow employees in Wakefield, Mass., in a tiff over an IRS debt.
