Those who preorder Star Wars Battlefront II will be granted early access to the beta starting on Oct. 4.

The game's Galactic Assault mode on Naboo which features a massive 40-player battle, was showcased at E3 2017 in June with a new multiplayer gameplay trailer.

The clip showcased how fans will fight on the side of either the droid army of the Separatists who first appeared in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace or their prequel-era enemies the Clone Troopers as they fight for control of Theed, the capital city of Naboo. Phantom Menace villain Darth Maul was also seen entering the battle as he cuts down a number of Clone Troopers using his double-sided lightsaber.
