LAS VEGAS, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Travis Kelce told girlfriend Taylor Swift that he plans to hold up his "end of the bargain" by winning a Super Bowl after watching her record night at the Grammy Awards, he said on Monday in Las Vegas.

"She is unbelievable," Kelce said of Swift during Super Bowl Opening Night at Allegiant Stadium. "She is rewriting the history books herself.

"I told her I'll have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with some hardware too."

Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs landed in Las Vegas on Sunday night, just in time for the tight end to watch Swift receive her awards on the broadcast, through his phone screen. He didn't have a chance to see her afterward because she needed to catch a flight for upcoming concert tour performances in Tokyo.

He said he wasn't sure if Swift had a parking spot in Las Vegas reserved for her private jet, but she is expected to attend the game Sunday at Allegiant Stadium.

The All-Pro tight end fielded dozens of Swift-related questions Monday on the same field where the league held its annual week-opening news conference ahead of Super Bowl LVIII.

Several other Chiefs players, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also received questions about the Kelce-Swift relationship. Mahomes said "Anti-Hero" and "Love Story" were among his favorite Swift songs.

Kelce, already a two-time Super Bowl champion, will attempt to claim a third title alongside Mahomes when the Chiefs meet the San Francisco 49ers. He said Swift has helped improve his energy going into games.

"She has an amazing love for life, just making sure I check my ego at the door and bring the right energy every single day," Kelce said.

He added that it has been fun to experience Swift bringing new fans to the game. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell also spoke about Swift on Monday at a news conference in Las Vegas. He even called himself a "Swiftie."

"She is a remarkable performer," Goodell said. "She knows great entertainment. I had the opportunity to go to two of her concerts with our girls and my wife. She is the best of the best. Having her come to NFL games and be a part of that is nothing but a positive."

Kelce scored three touchdowns over his last two games after going scoreless in seven consecutive appearances. He scored 19 times in 21 career postseason games, including in two of the Chiefs' previous three Super Bowl appearances.
