Okudah sustained the left leg injury in the fourth quarter of the Lions 41-33 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at Ford Field in Detroit.

"My faith in God's plan is unwavering," Okudah tweeted Monday morning. "The marathon continues."

Okudah, 22, joined the Lions as the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He recorded three solo tackles, an assist and a pass defensed in 48 snaps in Sunday's loss.

The former Ohio State defender totaled 47 combined tackles, four tackles for a loss, two passes defensed and an interception in nine games last season.

Amani Oruwariye and rookie Ifeatu Melifonwu now top the Lions depth chart at cornerback. Defensive backs A.J. Parker, Jerry Jacobs and Bobby Price are also listed as cornerbacks on the team's 53-man active roster.

The Lions (0-1) face the Green Bay Packers (0-1) at 8:15 p.m. EDT Sept. 20 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.
