The 50-0 welterweight world champion was sitting behind the back right portion of an end zone during the Rams' dramatic 36-31 NFC West victory on Sunday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Mayweather's first present came with 4:27 remaining in the third quarter. Seattle faced a 2nd and 7 from the Los Angeles 23-yard-line during the sequence. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson stepped back in the pocket before firing a pass into the right corner of the end zone, finding Tyler Lockett for a touchdown.
Lockett fell to the ground while making the acrobatic grab. He got up and immediately spotted Mayweather. The Seahawks pass catcher walked over to the box and handed him the football. Mayweather flashed a huge smile after receiving the gift.
But the Rams would not be outdone in their own stadium. Brandin Cooks provided the Los Angeles pigskin offering when he scored in the fourth quarter.
The Rams got possession of the football following a fumble recovery. Cooks ran the Rams' first play in for a nine-yard touchdown following the turnover.
Cooks dropped the ball after getting into the end zone. He then shouted "give me that ball" before getting it back and handing it to Mayweather.
Seattle scored on the next drive to get within five points of the Los Angeles lead but could not close the gap, turning the ball over on downs to end the game.
