The Cincinnati Bengals signed 2018 first-round draft pick Billy Price to a four-year contract with a team option for a fifth year, the club announced Monday.

Price, who started at guard for three seasons with Ohio State before shuffling to center in 2017, was selected with the 21st overall pick in last month's draft.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Price is the ninth of the Bengals' 11 draft picks to sign a contract, with only Ohio State defensive end Sam Hubbard (third round) and Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson (third round) remaining.

Price, who suffered an injured pectoral at the NFL Scouting Combine, is the 2017 Big Ten Rimington-Pace winner as the conference's top offensive lineman and Rimington Trophy winner as college football's top center. He finished his career with school records for both total and consecutive starts (55).

Price was also an All-American at left guard in 2016 before earning the same honors in 2017 as a center.

NFLDraftScout.com writes: "Scouts can check a lot of boxes with Price. He boasts a prototypical build and mentality for the interior, along with quickness, balance and power. Price's square-ish frame and high football IQ project best to center at the next level."
