Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Tom Brady had to remind Rob Gronkowski that Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers wasn't over, after Gronk completed a two-point conversion.

The New England Patriots eventually walked out of Heinz Field with a narrow 27-24 victory.

Brady and the Patriots lined up for a 1st and goal on the Steelers' eight-yard-line with about a minute remaining in the contest. The Patriots trailed 24-19. Brady handed off to running back Dion Lewis for a touchdown run to get the lead.

The Patriots then decided to go for a two-point conversion, in order to get a three point lead. On the next play, Brady threw a fade to the right side to his huge tight end.

Gronkowski secured the conversion before pointing and laughing at safety Sean Davis. He then did a robotic celebration, before spiking the football and dancing some more. Gronkowski kept dancing all the way to the Patriots' sideline until he was confronted by the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

"Hey, hey," Brady said. "It ain't over."

And Brady was right. The Steelers returned the kickoff for 22 yards. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger then tossed a pass to JuJu Smith-Schuster, who ran it 69 yards. Roethlisberger threw a 10-yard touchdown on the following play, but the score was reversed. Roethlisberger completed his next pass for three yards. His final throw was picked off, resulting in the Patriots' win.

After the game, Brady gushed about his All-Pro target.

"I think they were trying to challenge us," Brady told reporters. "He just makes a lot of good plays. Other guys make good plays too, but if he's open, he gets it. It was just a great game by him. He played so great."

"He just kept getting free. I thought he did a great job seperating, making the catches and I gave him some chances on some one-on-one throws."

"It's just risk-reward I think for the quarterback. Anytime Gronk...we've played so much football together, I have so much trust in him. It might look like 50-50 but it might be 95-5.

Gronkowski had a game-high 168 yards on nine catches in the victory.

"I love getting into that zone," Gronkowski told reporters after the game. "I wish I could be in that 24/7. Every week, every day...that would be cool if we were built like that."
