Nov. 1 (UPI) -- New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is my No. 1 fantasy football quarterback for Week 9.

Tom Brady, Philip Rivers and Ben Roethlisberger are the top options out with a bye this week. If you need a replacement for one of those gunslingers, and you don't have one on your roster, check out my Week 9 add/drops article.

Matthew Stafford, Russell Wilson, Dak Prescott and Derek Carr round out my top five options at the position. There are several other streaming targets to keep in mind if you want to get an edge on your opponent. Read the descriptions below for some of my favorite Week 9 starts.

Here are my Top 20 options at the position this week.

TOP 20 WEEK 9 RANKINGS BELOW

TOP SHELF

New Orleans Saints star Drew Brees is throwing fewer passes this season, due to a strong running game, but I can see him putting up a top tier performance in Week 9. The Saints are hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a defense allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing passers. Brees went without a touchdown pass in Week 8, the first time he has done that since Week 14 of the 2016 season. Look for a bounce back and a ton of targets for Michael Thomas, who is also my top option at wide receiver for the week.

SNEAKY PLAYS

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott should take on an increased role for his squad with the looming suspension of Ezekiel Elliott. Look for that to start this week against the Kansas City Chiefs, a defense allowing the fourth-most passing yards and tied for allowing the third-most passing scores to opposing quarterbacks. Prescott threw for three touchdowns in three consecutive games and had multiple passing scores in five straight games before not finding the end zone in Week 8. He'll have to do it in Week 9 just to keep the Cowboys competitive against this AFC West power.

LONGSHOTS

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff has fallen off a bit in the last three weeks after a strong start to the season. He should be in for a decent performance in Week 9 against the New York Giants. Goff is my No. 13 option, putting him in the streaming category if you need someone off of the waiver wire. The Giants are tied for allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game and third-most passing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks this season. Expect a heavy dose of Todd Gurley to open up this secondary, allowing Goff to find passing windows.

Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian had his worst game of the season in Week 8, completing just 52.8 percent of his passes for 198 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions in a 29-19 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Now the Broncos will turn to Brock Osweiler against the Philadelphia Eagles, a secondary that has allowed the third-most passing yards and is tied for allowing the fourth-most passing scores to opposing quarterbacks. Osweiler is a streaming option, but more likely a midrange QB2.
