Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Offensive guard Malcolm Bunche and long snapper Matt Overton have signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jacksonville announced the signings Thursday. The franchise also waived/injured rookie running back I'Tavius Mathers and placed fifth-year long snapper Carson Tinker on the reserve/injured list. If Mathers clears waivers Friday, he'll revert to the team's reserve/injured list.

Overton, 32, spent time with the Seattle Seahawks in 2008 and 2010. He appeared in 80 games for the Indianapolis Colts from 2012 to 2016. The 2013 Pro Bowler also played in the United Football League for the Florida Tuskers and Omaha Nighthawks. He is listed at 6-foot-1, 243 pounds.

Bunche was originally signed in 2015 as an undrafted free agent for the Philadelphia Eagles. He also spent time with the Canadian Football League's Hamilton Tiger Cats. Bunche played at UCLA and the University of Miami.

Jacksonville signed running back Tyler Gaffney on Wednesday, the same day Mathers was released from the hospital after sustaining a cervical spinal cord injury.

The Jaguars lost Tinker for the season after he tore his right anterior cruciate ligament.

Tinker, 27, handled 149 special teams snaps last season. He has been with the Jaguars since 2013 and has two years remaining on his contract with the franchise.
