Michael, who signed a one-year, $800,000 deal in March, was released by the Green Bay Packers on May 1 after the team selected three running backs in the 2017 NFL draft.

The 26-year-old Michael had 31 carries for 114 yards and one touchdown in six games with the Packers last season after being claimed off waivers on Nov. 16. He was released by the Seattle Seahawks on the previous day after rushing for 469 yards and six touchdowns and reeling in 20 catches for 96 yards and a score.

Michael has 254 carries for 1,080 yards and seven rushing touchdowns to go along with 26 receptions for 135 yards and a score in 37 career contests with the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys and Packers.
