Uzdavinis, 24, entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Houston Texans in 2016 out of Tulane.

The Lions also waived offensive tackle Pierce Burton.

Burton, 26, participated in the Lions' rookie minicamp over the weekend. He went undrafted out of Ole Miss in 2014 and has been on the practice squads of the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and Indianapolis Colts.
