DENVER, Jan. 1 (UPI) -- Gary Kubiak could be coaching his last game Sunday. The Denver Broncos coach is expected to retire after the season, according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Kubiak, 55, was noncommittal when asked about resignation rumors Saturday.
"I love this league," Kubiak told reporters. "I love the Broncos. I love the work, you know? You know, I'm all in on the Raiders right now. There will be time for reflection and all that stuff next week, but right now it's time to focus on what we're doing."
Kubiak has had health scares in the past, including a "complex migraine condition," that forced him to sit out the Broncos' Oct. 13 loss to the San Diego Chargers. He also was rushed to the hospital in 2013 after suffering a mini-stroke during a game while coaching the Houston Texans.
Kubiak held a 61-64 record in eight seasons with the Texans. He is 20-11 in two seasons with the Broncos, including last year's Super Bowl 50 victory.
The Broncos [8-7] were eliminated from playoff contention after last Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Kubiak's squad hosts the Oakland Raiders at 4:25 p.m. Sunday at Sports Authority Field.
