The Cincinnati Bengals placed tight end Tyler Eifert and guard Clint Boling on injured reserve Monday.

Eifert (back) and Boling (shoulder) both missed Saturday night's 12-10 loss to the Houston Texans. The moves leave two open spots on the 53-man roster for Sunday's season finale against the Baltimore Ravens at Paul Brown Stadium.

Eifert reported his back injury to the medical staff on Dec. 20 and did not practice last week. He missed the first six games of the season with ankle and back injuries, and finished the season with 29 receptions for 394 yards and five touchdowns.

Boling reportedly separated his shoulder in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 29, but he started every game since prior to being inactive against the Texans.

In addition, the Bengals likely will shut down wide receiver A.J. Green for the season finale due to a right hamstring injury.
