Robert Griffin III is expected to miss the Browns' Jan. 1 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field. The quarterback left the Browns' Sunday victory with a concussion. He completed 17-of-25 passes for 164 yards in the win. Cody Kessler will likely earn the start in Griffin's place.

Griffin suffered the injury with 10:30 remaining in the fourth quarter of the 20-17 victory. He was sacked seven times by the San Diego Chargers, including the final blows by Darius Philon and Korey Toomer.

Griffin, 26, completed 58-of-107 passes for 654 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions this season. He is due $6 million, with a $1.5 million roster bonus, next season in the last year of his two-year deal.
