ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was 19 of 30 for 219 yards with one touchdown and one interception on Sunday against the Chargers.

He took just one snap from under center, and the Raiders have used shotgun and pistol formations exclusively since Carr was injured against Carolina on Nov. 27, dislocating his right pinky finger in two places.

Although Carr said he is fine and with no limitations -- he said he took snaps from under center in pregame and could execute the center snaps in a game -- coach Jack Del Rio indicated otherwise.

"It's somewhat of an issue," Del Rio said. "It's not ideal. Being completely honest about it, it's an issue that we're working through."

After the Carolina game, Carr said he had no idea what happened or how he was hurt. Del Rio, however, was wearing a TV microphone at the time, which caught Carr saying that center Rodney Hudson "double-snapped" him.

--The Raiders gave up more than 1,000 yards and 69 points in their first two games of the season. Three months later they held San Diego to a season-low 263 yards.

Rivers, who had 354 yards passing on just 21 completions when the Raiders won 34-31 on Oct. 9, was 17 of 30 for 206 yards and only struck deep once -- on a 47-yard touchdown pass to Travis Benjamin.

"The good news is outside of the first drive, when we let one go over the top of us, I thought we were pretty solid throughout the day against Philip and the way he can push the ball down the field," Del Rio said. "He's pretty darn good at it, and I thought we were pretty effective."
