Chicharito freaks out as J.J. Watt meets Mexican National Team

By Alex Butler

HOUSTON, June 13 (UPI) -- Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt might be as All-American as it gets, but that didn't stop him from enjoying his time with the Mexican National Team Sunday.

Watt surprised the soccer squad Sunday, a day before its game against Venezuela in Houston as part of Copa America Centenario.

When Watt walked into the practice bubble, the team threw a football to him and then acted as if it was going to tackle him.

His biggest fan might be Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández, who smiled ear-to-ear when watching Watt.

Chicharito also laughed like a fan boy as Watt presented him with a signed jersey. He gave Watt a game ball and told him that he would also give him a game jersey.

Watt is listed at 6-foot, 6-inches, 290 pounds. Chicharito comes in at 5-foot, 9-inches, 157 pounds.

The Texans face the Oakland Raiders Monday, Nov. 21 in Mexico City at Estadio Azteca.
