BUFFALO, N.Y., Sept. 21 (UPI) -- We all know how quickly Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy can side step, but now he's trying out his back-step.

McCoy, who was traded by the Philadelphia Eagles for linebacker Kiko Alonso this offseason, had a hard breakup from coach Chip Kelly.

After the trade, McCoy claimed that Kelly "got rid of all the good black players."

On ESPN Sunday, McCoy defended his comments.

"That's how I felt," McCoy told ESPN's Hannah Storm. "That's how I felt. Everybody was so quick to say I called him a racist. I never called him a racist. I have no issues with Chip. I don't have no hatred towards him."

Kelly's team is already reeling early this season, stumbling out to an 0-2 record. McCoy's Bills face the Eagles on Dec. 13 in Philadelphia.

"You see how fast he got rid of all the good players," McCoy told ESPN this offseason. "Especially all the good black players. He got rid of them the fastest. That's the truth. There's a reason. ... It's hard to explain with him. But there's a reason he got rid of all the black players — the good ones — like that."

Some players that have departed Philadelphia in Kelly's tenure include: McCoy, DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin.

McCoy, 27, has 32 carries for 130 yards and six receptions for 73 yards in two games for the Bills. McCoy's replacement in Philadelphia and last year's leading rusher, DeMarco Murray has 21 carries for 11 yards and a score on the ground. Murray also has nine catches for 64 yards and a touchdown.

McCoy signed a five-year, $40 million deal, containing $26.05 million guaranteed and a $13.125 million signing bonus with the Bills this season. Murray signed a five-year, $40 million deal with $21 million guaranteed and a $5 million signing bonus this year with the Eagles.
