President Obama calls Bill Belichick to congratulate Patriots on win

WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- President Barack Obama called New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick Thursday to congratulate him on his team's win in Super Bowl XLIX.

The White House readout of the call notes that Obama admired the way each part of the team worked together, noting in particular quarterback Tom Brady's and rookie Malcolm Butler's contributions.

Obama said he looks forward to the Patriot's White House visit, but no date has been specified.

One thing is for sure, Brandon Browner is excited for the White House visit.
