Milwaukee Bucks sign veteran swingman Brandon Rush

The Milwaukee Bucks added a veteran presence to the perimeter by signing swingman Brandon Rush to a training camp contract on Tuesday.

Rush spent last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves and averaged 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 21.9 minutes over 47 games while shooting 38.6 percent from 3-point range. The 32-year-old is a career 40.2 percent 3-point shooter over nine seasons with Indiana, Golden State, Utah and Minnesota.

Rush, who won a championship as a member of the Golden State Warriors in 2015, owns career averages of 6.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in 481 games.

The Kansas product joins a small forward/shooting guard rotation in Milwaukee that also includes Khris Middleton, Jabari Parker, Tony Snell Rashad Vaughn, James Young and Sterling Brown.
