June 27 (UPI) -- Joel Embiid celebrated his first-team All-Rookie selection by posting a video of himself avoiding a female fan.
The Philadelphia 76ers star scored 20.2 points and had 7.8 rebounds per game this season, but didn't win Rookie of the Year, despite strong support. Milwaukee Bucks rookie Malcolm Brogdon took home the first-year player award.
But before the 2017 NBA Awards on TNT, Embiid posted an interesting video on social media.
"EURO STEPPING my way through CHILD SUPPORT with the smooth lay up #TheProcess," Embiid posted, tagging himself at "Plan B Spice Factory Studios."
The video featured a woman walking up to Embiid, but he side stepped her instead of talking to her. "Euro-step," he said after getting past the woman.
Embiid later congratulated Brogdon for winning Rookie of the Year.
"Congrats to Malcolm for the award.. you deserve it #ROY." Embiid tweeted.
Brogdon, 24, posted 10.2 points, 4.2 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game this season for the Bucks. 'Humble Moses' edged 'The Process,' who has actually been in the NBA since 2014.

"Btw Avery Bradley not making at least 1st team All-Defense is so crazy to me...I wanna know who these voters are smh," he tweeted.
The 7-foot center is expected to sign a contract extension this offseason.
"Look, I'd just say we want Joel to be on the team for a long time," Sixers owner Josh Harris told the Bucks County Courier Times last week.. "We want us all to grow old together. That's the way I would put it."
Embiid had minor arthroscopic surgery in March for a meniscus tear.
