CLEVELAND, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Kevin Love could exchange his wine and gold threads for green garb if trade rumors prove true.
Cleveland's famous forward could become a member of the Boston Celtics in exchange for New Orleans' Ryan Anderson in a three-team deal, according to CSN Celtics insider A. Sherrod Blakely.
"The deal is still "very fragile" at this point, but it does provide Boston the best shot it has had in landing a player the Celtics have coveted for some time now," Blakely wrote.
Frank Isola, of the New York Daily News, previously reported that the Celtics and Cavaliers "have discussed a blockbuster trade centered around Kevin Love. There were very preliminary discussions about expanding the deal to include the Knicks and [Carmelo] Anthony, who would have to waive his no-trade clause in order to facilitate a deal to the Cavs."
