CLEVELAND -- Indians manager Terry Francona became ill during the fifth inning of Cleveland's game against the Texas Rangers on Monday night, and he had to leave the dugout.

Bench coach Brad Mills took over managing the team for the remainder of the game.

Francona, 58, is in his fifth year as Indians manager, and he guided Cleveland to the World Series last year. He led the Boston Red Sox to World Series championships in 2004 and 2007.
