Former major league slugger and performance-enhancing drug user Manny Ramirez is on the Hall of Fame ballot this year. But according to his wife, the 44-year-old Ramirez wants to be on a baseball roster instead.

"He is training extremely hard," Juliana Ramirez told TMZ Sports. "Batting, CrossFit, Orange Theory. He never stops."

The last time Ramirez appeared in a major league game as a player was in 2011 while a member of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Juliana Ramirez said her husband has not made an official decision but she supports her husband, whatever he decides.

"I told him, 'Go for it!' Baseball is the love of his life other than his family and I totally support him 100 percent ... 'cause I know how much it means for him."

Ramirez, who hit 555 home runs across 19 seasons, has attempted a handful of comebacks that include minor-league stops in Texas, Oakland, Chicago and the EDA Rhinos in the Chinese Pro Baseball League.
