CLEVELAND, June 30 (UPI) -- This just in: The Cleveland Indians have yet to lose a game since the Cavaliers brought home the NBA Finals trophy.

Following a three-game losing streak on June 15, the Indians erupted with sweeps of the Chicago White Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, Detroit Tigers, and Atlanta Braves. It has allowed about two runs per game during the 12-game winning streak.

The team added another 'W' to its running hashtag on Twitter Thursday morning: "#WWWWWWWWWWWWindians."

On deck is a stretch reminiscent of the Cavaliers' victorious run to the NBA Finals. After taking out the Detroit Pistons, the Cavaliers knocked out the Atlanta Hawks. The Indians recently edged the Tigers and Braves. On tap is an away series against the Toronto Blue Jays, similar to the Cavaliers' Eastern Conference Finals matchup against the Raptors.

The Indians have won 21 of 27 games so far in June, with the monthly slate concluding at 7:07 p.m. tonight in Toronto. If the Indians win, it would tie the longest streak in franchise history. The 1951 Indians wrapped up a 13-game streak in August of that year.
