SAN FRANCISCO, April 26 (UPI) -- Baseball might have taken a backseat to "Game of Thrones" and Beyonce this weekend, but "Game of Thrones" didn't take a backseat to San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence.

Pence shamelessly strutted next to his scooter, while wearing a replica of Sandor "The Hound" Clegane's dog head mask, in a photo he posted Monday on Twitter.

On Sunday, Pence enjoyed the Season 6 premier with teammates, including Joe Panik, before he also allowed pitcher Madison Bumgarner to wear the helmet.

Pence, 33, has four home runs and 14 RBI, while hitting .263 so far this season for the Giants.

Despite Pence's generous offering, Bumgarner told Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News that the he isn't a huge fan of the HBO series.

"Bumgarner isn't a devoted watcher of the show," Baggarly wrote. "He seemed disappointed when I told him that The Hound was left for dead in a field last season. But he pledged to wear the helmet during his interviews if he happens to throw a no-hitter."
