Video: Pittsburgh Pirates star in "Family Matters" parody

PITTSBURGH, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Sometimes competition seeps outside of the base paths.

That was the case Friday, when the Pittsburgh Pirates attempted to best the San Francisco Giants in the game of TV parodies.

The Pirates battle the Giants in a four-game series through Sunday night. Pittsburgh beat San Francisco 4-0 Thursday at home and the Giants won 6-4 Friday. The Giants released a "Full House" parody on Aug. 14. On Friday, Benstonium.com posted a video of the Pirates starring in "Family Matters."

The "Family Matters" family includes Pirates manager Clint Hurdle, and stars Andrew McCutchen, Neil Walker, Francisco Liriano, A.J. Burnett, Gerrit Cole, Mark Melancon, Gregory Polanco, Starling Marte, Francisco Cervelli, Jung Ho Kang, and Reginald VelJohnson as Pedro Alvarez.
