New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony assessed double technical, ejected

BOSTON - New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony was ejected from Friday night's game against the Boston Celtics after receiving a double technical foul late in the first half.

Anthony was assessed a technical foul by referee Dedric Taylor with 4:44 remaining in the second quarter. Anthony continued to have words with Taylor and received a second technical, much to the delight of the Boston crowd.

The nine-time All-Star finished with 12 points, all in the first quarter. New York trailed 44-38 at the time of Anthony's ejection.
