The Minnesota Vikings ruled out guard Alex Boone and linebacker Eric Kendricks with concussions for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.

Both sustained concussions against the Chicago Bears on Monday night and were forced to sit out practice all week.

Boone, who started all seven games at left guard this season, also is dealing with shoulder and knee injuries. Jeremiah Sirles replaced Boone against the Bears and is expected to start Sunday.

Audie Cole likely will start at middle linebacker and Chad Greenway will take Kendricks' spot in the nickel.

Guard Zac Kerin (hand) and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (knee) also were officially ruled out after being held out of practice all week.

Running back Jerick McKinnon is questionable after missing last Sunday's game with an ankle injury. Safety Andrew Sendejo (ankle) and defensive tackle Tom Johnson (concussion) also were listed as questionable.
