Safety Tyrann Mathieu made a friendly wager with fellow NFL defensive star J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans.

The bet was a football game between the players' former college teams, Louisiana State and the University of Wisconsin, respectively. The loser of the bet had to do 100 pushups and prove it on social media.

Mathieu's Tigers lost on a late interception, but the Honey Badger posted video of him making good on his word, recording two reps of pushups totaling 100 in all.

Watt responded on his Twitter account, "Much respect!! Man of his word."

Miller was a sixth-round pick from this year's draft. Riddick was a fifth-round pick a year ago.

-- Frostee Rucker had this to say to ESPN's Josina Anderson after learning the team made fellow veteran defensive tackle Red Bryant among its final round of cuts: "You are losing a lot of experience. He was one of the only people on our team who has Super Bowl experience. So we gained a lot by signing him last year and with him helping us on our road to trying to get to the championship game. All those years in the league was helpful for our younger guys to know how to train and be a pro. We have other leadership on the line, like myself and Calais (Campbell), but it always helps when you have another guy who has played eight-plus years."

-- RB David Johnson on teammate Chris Johnson and how much the veteran helped him during his rookie season. "He's very generous. He's always there to help. After every run last year when he was hurt and I ended up coming in, or in OTAs after every run, he'd come back and talk to me. He'd ask me, 'What did you see?' He was always there, giving me advice on how to set up the big hole, things like that. It was so valuable for someone so new to everything."
