WNBA: League picks its 20 greatest and most influential players

The WNBA is celebrating its 20th season and announced the league's 20 greatest and most influential players on Tuesday.

The list includes three current members of the defending champion Minnesota Lynx in Maya Moore, Seimone Augustus and Lindsay Whalen. Other active players selected include Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks, New York's Swin Cash, Seattle's Sue Bird, Indiana's Tamika Catchings, Phoenix's Diana Taurasi and Chicago's Cappie Pondexter.

The former players selected were Cynthia Cooper, Yolanda Griffith, Becky Hammon, Lauren Jackson, Lisa Leslie, Deanna Nolan, Ticha Penicheiro, Kate Smith, Sheryl Swoopes, Tina Thompson and Teresa Weatherspoon.

Dawn Staley, who was part of the WNBA's 15-player squad chosen five years ago, didn't make the current top-20 list.
