Stephen Curry isn't quite sure he'll end up in Rio de Janeiro playing for the U.S. team at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

At this point, he's too busy thinking about beating the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James in the NBA Finals. But when the series is over, Curry has a decision to make.

Golden State's star point guard wants to wait and see just in case something happens between now and when the final roster is selected.

"I have no idea," Curry told NBA.com. "I'm still in the pool and still the goal is to be on the Olympic team if that's the right decision for me. I am leaving myself a little bit of room just because I don't know what it's going to be like. But in a couple weeks I'll know for sure."

Curry has dealt with ankle and knee injuries during the postseason that could affect his decision. But there is motivation on his part because he has never gone to the Olympics as a player. He'd like to add an Olympic gold medal to his resume.

"Every time I've played for Team USA in the past, starting way back when I was 19 to the last two World Championships and whatnot, it always is a huge honor to represent your country and to team up with other guys and play against some of the best competition in the world and have that sense of pride for wearing USA across your chest," Curry said. "I've never played in the Olympics, and that's what it's all kind of geared up to. I think that's definitely a special accomplishment to be able to be on that team."

A decision will come sometime after the NBA Finals. Team USA's training camp is set for July 18-21 in Las Vegas. Exhibition games will follow leading to the beginning of the Games on Aug. 5 in the Brazilian city.
