Tashaun Gipson, Jacksonville Jaguars agree to deal worth $35.5 million

The Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday signed former Cleveland Browns safety Tashaun Gipson to a five-year, $35.5 million deal on Wednesday.

Gipson, a Pro Bowler in 2014, has 13 interceptions in the past three seasons.

Gipson was signed by the Browns as an undrafted rookie out of Wyoming in 2012.

He has appeared in 50 career games with 42 starts and has totaled 240 tackles (159 solo), 22 passes defensed, 14 interceptions and one forced fumble.
