Dave Ragone, who was an offensive quality control coach for the Washington Redskins this past season, was named the Chicago Bears quarterbacks coach, the team announced Friday.

Ragone has four years NFL coaching experience, including spending the 2013 season as the Tennessee Titans quarterbacks coach.

While with the Titans, Ragone worked under current Bears offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains, who was the Titans offensive coordinator from 2012 to 2013.

Loggains was the Bears quarterbacks coach in 2015 but he was promoted to offensive coordinator to fill the spot vacated by Adam Gase when Gase left the Bears to become the head coach of the Miami Dolphins.
