Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo suffered a game-ending left clavicle injury on a sack in the third quarter on Thursday in Arlington, Texas.

Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis sacked Romo and he landed on his left shoulder. Romo, who left the field favoring his left arm after remaining on the turf for several minutes, missed seven games earlier this season after breaking his left collarbone.

Romo completed 11 of 21 passes for 106 yards and three interceptions. Two of the interceptions were returned for touchdowns by the Panthers.

Matt Cassel replaced Romo at quarterback in the fourth quarter.
