Warriors go small, lead Cavs at break in Game 4

Draymond Green scored 13 points and the Golden State Warriors lead the Cleveland Cavaliers 54-42 at halftime in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr elected to insert his super-small lineup to start the game, taking out Andrew Bogut in favor of Andre Iguodala and beginning with the 6-foot-7 Green at center.

Although MVP Stephen Curry netted just eight points on 3-of-9 shooting, the shorter Warriors were able to quicken the pace. They shot 46.5 percent (20- of-43) from the field and recorded 14 assists on their 20 made baskets.

LeBron James, averaging 41 points, 12 rebounds and 8.3 assists over the first three games in the series, has 10 points, three boards and three helpers. He's just 4-of-12 from the floor. Timofey Mozgov leads the Cavs with 13 points.

Cleveland scored the first seven points, which forced Kerr to take a timeout just over two minutes in, but Golden State picked up the tempo shortly thereafter. It used a 14-2 run later in the period to help take a 31-24 advantage into the second. The Warriors did not score more than 21 points in any of the three opening frames of the Finals coming in.
