Roger Federer will lead visiting Switzerland against host France in next week's 2014 Davis Cup final.

The Swiss squad will feature the world No. 2 Wimbledon runner-up Federer, fourth-ranked Australian Open champion Stan Wawrinka, Marco Chiudinelli and Michael Lammer, but Federer and Wawrinka are expected to play in all the meaningful rubbers.

Team France will counter with No. 12 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Richard Gasquet, Gael Monfils and Julien Benneteau.

Switzerland is captained by Severin Luthi, while the French are guided by former Aussie Open runner-up Arnaud Clement.

The best-of--five tie will be staged on indoor red clay at Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille, France.

The French are 10-2 all-time versus the Swiss in Davis Cup play. The two nations last met in a 2004 quarterfinal that was won by France.

The nine-time champion French are seeking their first Davis Cup titles in 13 years, while Switzerland, and the 33-year-old 17-time Grand Slam champion Federer, have never hoisted the coveted 114-year-old chalice.
