David Ortiz continued to torment his old club, belting two homers for the second straight day, as the Boston Red Sox topped the Minnesota Twins 9-4 at Target Field.
The first blast, a no-doubter into the upper deck in right-center field, was Ortiz's 383rd with the Red Sox, passing Jim Rice for the third-most in team history.

Felix Doubront (2-3) went 6 1/3 innings for the Red Sox, giving up a run on seven hits with a walk and five strikeouts.
Minnesota starter Kevin Correia (1-5) surrendered five runs and nine hits in just four innings.
