Giants sneak past the Brewers

Mark Minicozzi capped San Francisco's three-run ninth inning with a tiebreaking sacrifice fly, as the Giants rallied for a 5-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday in spring training action.

Mark Minicozzi capped San Francisco's three-run ninth inning with a tiebreaking sacrifice fly, as the Giants rallied for a 5-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday in spring training action.

Juan Perez and Gary Brown each knocked in a run during the rally, while Ehire Adrianza finished 3-for-4 with a run scored for the Giants.

Madison Bumgarner, who is slated to start for San Francisco on Opening Day, struck out six over 5 2/3 frames, but served up three solo home runs in his final spring training start.

Khris Davis, Carlos Gomez, Martin Maldonado and Milwaukee starter Wily Peralta all went deep in the setback. Peralta permitted just one run on six hits with five strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings.
