Angels float by the White Sox

Mike Trout went 1-for-2 with a homer and two runs scored to help the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to a 14-10 win over the Chicago White Sox in Cactus League play.

Mike Trout went 1-for-2 with a homer and two runs scored to help the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to a 14-10 win over the Chicago White Sox in Cactus League play.

Ian Stewart also homered for the Angels, who also received an RBI apiece from Josh Hamilton, Albert Pujols and Erick Aybar. David Freese knocked in two in the win, while starter Tyler Skaggs went 4 1/3 innings and allowed five earned runs on seven hits with three walks and two strikeouts.

Jose Abreu, Matt Davidson and Jordan Danks all homered for Chicago, with Abreu and Davidson each knocking in three runs. White Sox starter Erik Johnson allowed eight runs -- seven earned -- over four innings of work.
