NBA: Washington 94, New Orleans 93

WASHINGTON, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Nene poured in 30 points and provided a go-ahead slam dunk with 0.3 seconds left Saturday, elevating the Washington Wizards over New Orleans 94-93.

The Pelicans had taken a 93-92 lead on two Anthony Davis free throws with 7 seconds left, but Washington's John Wall responded by splitting the defense and laying off a pass to Nene, who slammed it home just before the final buzzer.

Marcin Gortat provided 16 points with 10 rebounds while Wall added 10 points and 12 assists in the Wizards' fifth straight win over New Orleans.

Davis struck for 26 points and 11 rebounds. Anthony Morrow netted 18 points off the bench for the Pelicans.
