NBA: Detroit 115, Atlanta 107

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Greg Monroe had 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead a balanced attack that carried the Detroit Pistons over shorthanded Atlanta 115-107 Friday.

Kyle Singler drained 4-of-6 from 3-point range on his way to 20 points and Andre Drummond also netted 20 as the Pistons ended a three-game losing streak.

Brandon Jennings scored all 12 of his points during a decisive third-quarter surge and distributed 14 assists for Detroit.

The Hawks, meanwhile, dropped an eighth straight while playing without Jeff Teague (sprained ankle), Al Horford (pectoral muscle), Pero Antic (ankle) and Gustavo Ayon (shoulder).

Paul Millsap paced Atlanta with 23 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

Shelvin Mack added 21 points and Mike Scott netted 20 off the bench.
