NBA: Toronto 93, Dallas 85

TORONTO, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- DeMar DeRozan turned in the largest point total of his career Wednesday in leading a huge rally that gave Toronto a 93-85 victory over Dallas.

DeRozan made 15-of-22 shots from the field while scoring 40 points. Greivis Vasquez came off the bench to contribute 17 points and seven assists.

Toronto trailed by 19 after one period and the Raptors were still behind by five heading into the fourth quarter. The Raptors took the lead for good when DeRozan converted a 3-point play with 3:38 to play, touching off a game-closing 11-3 run.

Monta Ellis scored 21 points for the Mavericks. Dallas played without Dirk Nowitzki, who is not suffering from any known injury but was given the night off by Coach Rick Carlisle.
