NFL: New York Giants 23, Detroit 20 (OT)

DETROIT, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Josh Brown kicked a 45-yard field goal 7:32 into overtime Sunday and the New York Giants ended Detroit's post-season hopes with a 23-20 victory.

The decisive boot -- Brown's third field goal of the game -- helped New York overcome an anemic offense that produced just 57 total yards in the second half.
